Early voting starts today in the City of Albuquerque’s municipal election. Voting sites and information are available here.
KOB-TV recently released the first public polling of the all-important mandatory paid sick leave ballot measure which appears on City ballots and the news does not look good for sanity and future economic growth. Conducted by Carroll Strategies, the poll places mandatory paid sick leave at a 46 — 31 advantage with 22 percent undecided.
That is obviously troubling information, but in the same poll for Albuquerque Mayor, Carroll found liberal Colon’s numbers to be much higher than did rival KRQE. The difference was astonishing with KOB putting Colon at 19.3 percent (2nd only to Tim Keller) and KRQE putting him at just 10 percent behind both Keller and Dan Lewis.
Ultimately, there is only ONE poll that matters and that starts today, so get out there and vote. And don’t forget the sick leave measure on the back of your ballot!
I haven’t see it, but has RGF made any recommendations on acceptable mayoral candidates?
