RGF questions Mayor Keller’s “Stay home for college” pitch to local high school seniors

Channel 13 covered our recent questioning of Albuquerque Mayor Tim Keller’s sending letters to local high school seniors urging them to stay home and attend UNM. Benefits offered include “free” bus passes, early childhood care, and the ability to serve on boards and commissions. The letter and blog posting which spurred KRQE’s story can be found here.

  1. Who gave UNM permission to give the names and addresses of a current UNM student or a student who has been accepted at UNM to the mayor’s office ? Sounds like an invasion of privacy to me.
