Provide input to APS on potential school closures
As we discussed recently on this site, Albuquerque Public Schools are beginning the process of possibly closing some schools. We view this as absolutely necessary given the District’s plummeting enrollment. As we’ve argued, we believe the best way to undertake these needed closures is through something resembling a federal BRAC process like that used to close down unnecessary military bases in recent decades.
The list of opportunities to attend meetings and speak to the APS Board on the issue is below. RGF plans to be in attendance and speak at one or more of these. Hopefully you can as well.
