Energy expert Alex Epstein takes “Clear Horizons” SB 18 down

It is tough for New Mexico to gain attention in the national media, but our incompetent politicians try very hard. SB 18, perhaps the worst bill ever, to be considered in New Mexico’s Legislature, would be both unachievable and economically devastating. So, it is at once nice and also disconcerting that national energy expert and author Alex Epstein felt compelled to provide an exhaustive takedown of SB 18. SB 18 could be up in the Senate Tax Committee as early as this Saturday. Despite this bill being incredibly harmful to both New Mexico AND the nation as a whole (read Epstein’s piece) it is going to be a tough bill to stop.
