Help extend our network by finding African hair braiders

Many of our blog readers attended the Friedman Day luncheon with Tim Keller of the Institute for Justice. A big part of Keller’s talk involved problems with occupational licensing.

One group that suffers in several states under the yoke of occupational licensing is African hair braiders. IJ has assisted these folks in several states around the nation and are looking for potential clients to help break through New Mexico’s costly and harmful licensing laws.

If you know anyone who is involved in African hair braiding, please pass this message along to them and have them contact the Rio Grande Foundation via email: info@riograndefoundation.org or via phone at: 505-264-6090. There’s no commitment. We’re just looking to help out a friendly organization.
