The Fraser Institute’s report on economic freedom in the states and provinces previously ranked New Mexico as being freer than West Virginia and several Canadian provinces. Well, the latest version of the report came out this year and the Land of Enchantment is now dead last in the USA and only beat out the Canadian province of Prince Edward Island.
