OAK NM informs parents about federal tax credit at recent NM FAM event

On Saturday, July 18, OAK NM (a project of the Rio Grande Foundation) tabled at the Family Festival sponsored by the New Mexico Family Action Movement. The event was a big success with families stopping by all afternoon to play ping pong toss, receive school supplies, and learn about the work OAK is doing to bring school choice to New Mexico. Specifically, we shared the fact that Congress has created a $1,700 tax credit for school choice. Whether New Mexico will participate or not is up to Gov. Lujan Grisham.
